Beth Rocchio, MD is a board certified bariatric physician in East Greenwich, RI. She is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. She also maintains board certification in Family Medicine. After graduating cum laude with departmental honors in psychology from Skidmore College, she received her medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine.
She takes a special interest in emotional/compulsive eating and food addiction as causes of obesity. She is co-chair of the Rhode Island Department of Health Initiative for a Healthy Weight Healthcare workgroup as well as the recipient of the Woman of Achievement award for the local chapter of the Business and Professional Women's Association.
Dr Rocchio is a Certified Solution Provider and has a personal and professional interest in integrative and holistic medicine as a path to health, happiness and wholeness.
